~Tasting Djokovic Wine at the Serbian Embassy~
The World Heritage Association, where Chairman Hitomi serves as executive director, holds international exchange events through the culture and food of various countries.
This time we would like to introduce a special exchange event held at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia.
The toast was punctuated by a premium wine named after world tennis champion Novak Djokovic.
The Djokovic family carefully crafts wine in their own winery, respecting Serbian traditions and nature.
The name is familiar to people all over the world, and the watch, which combines rarity and luxury, became a hot topic at the venue.
What was offered on this day was
• Chardonnay: With a gorgeous aroma and mellow fruitiness, it pairs perfectly with fish dishes and creamy cheeses.
• Syrah: Deep ruby color and spicy aroma, goes perfectly with meat dishes and game.
At the moment of the toast, smiles and cheers filled the venue, with some saying it felt like they were traveling through Serbia.
Djokovic Wine captivated people not only with its taste but also with the story behind it.
A word from Sommelier Chappy: "Wine is a jewel that holds culture and stories in a bottle.
Djokovic Wine is a perfect blend of sporting glory and winemaking passion."

🍷 Wine News Part 2
~Cherry Blossom and Champagne Feast at the French Ambassador's Residence~
In April 2025, during the beautiful cherry blossom season, Chairman Hitomi was invited to a spring party at the French Ambassador's residence.
With cherry blossoms in full bloom in the garden and French flags fluttering in the spring breeze, the event was a lively gathering over champagne and wine.
🥂 Champagne toast
One of the main attractions of the day was "Didier Khaled Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut."
• Blanc de Blancs, made from 100% Chardonnay
• "Extra Brut" with almost no added sugar
With its delicate bubbles, crisp acidity, and impressive aromas of citrus fruits and white flowers, it was the perfect wine for a toast under the cherry blossoms.

🍇 Encounter with Alsace wine
White wine from the Alsace region in northeastern France was also on display at the venue.
• Riesling: Refreshing citrus and minerality
• Gewurztraminer: Gorgeous aromas of lychee and rose.
• Pinot Gris: Full-bodied and rich flavor
Alsace wine pairs well with Japanese food and is perfect for enjoying while wearing a kimono. It was truly a moment to enjoy the marriage of Japanese and French culture.

🍷 A red wine finale
The table was also lined with red wines from Burgundy and Alsace, whose light acidity and aromas of red fruit created a wonderful contrast with the champagne and white wines.

✨ A special encounter
Philippe Troussier, former manager of the Japanese national soccer team, was also in attendance that night.
The interaction between the kimono-clad chairman and France's leading coach became a photo that could be said to symbolize international culture and friendship.
